IT Engineer with 12 years of working experience on the edge of mobile R&D technology, father of two. Currently living in Finland near Oulu, which is great for clean air, sports and other hobby activities. Only thing that I'd like to improve is the flight connections, you always need to travel throuh Helsinki if you want to go somewhere.

I have been interested in photography for many years, and quite recently I bought a proper DSLR for my usage. I'm particularly interested on screnery and astrophotography. Some might think that it is not the easiest topic to start with, but Forrest Tanaka has made excellent tutorials on youtube.

Equipment currently in use: Canon 550D body, 18-50mm kit and fixed Canon 50mm II / F1.8 lenses. Manfrotto ballhead tripod for longer exposures. I use Magic Lantern which is handy for time lapse and other cool features. Check it out for yourself if you are interested.

Mechanical doohickeys have always facinated me, to see how something actually works. Motorcycles are great way to satisfy this thirst of hand on problem solving.

Cheap but realiable Suzuki Bandit has been in my use for 4 years now. I have learned different maintenance operations and also some power improvements has been made in past winters. You can find images from different projects and journeys from the gallery. A great source of information (in finnish) is suzukibandit.org.
